ALL PRO DADS
All Pro Dad Chapters provide an opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their children that will strengthen their relationship. For one hour each month you'll get to join other dads and kids at Schoo for a fun, memory-making event.
Children's Garden
Each September the Kindergarten and First Grade students plant their class gardens as part of their study of Plants. Students watch as their seeds grow into blooming flowers and edible vegetables.
Lunch Bunch
Lunch Bunch is a voluntary book club offered to 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th graders. Students sign up to read the selected books and then meet during lunch several times a year to discuss the books with their group. Pizza, drink and cookies are provided.
Rockin' Reader®
Rockin' Reader® is a national literacy program developed by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Volunteers read one on one with a Kindergarten student while rocking in rocking chairs.
Reflections
Reflections is a National PTA cultural arts competition that gives K-5th grade students a chance to let their creative talents shine in Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Click here to learn more about the program.
Kids Care
Kids Care is a service club where 4th and 5th graders learn the joy of giving back. Club activities focus on fun and charitable projects to benefit our community, especially other children. Meetings are held after school approximately once a month and volunteers are always needed. Click here for more information regarding 2022-2023 Kids Care.
Field Day
Join your kids for a day of play! Field Day takes place each year in May. Many volunteers are needed to assist the PE teachers with numerous fun activities and athletic events. Check the calendar for this year's date.
Hands on Dolvin Day
Hands on Dolvin Day (formerly known as Dolvin Clean-up Day) is an annual event in coordination with our local Boy Scouts to improve school grounds. Students and parents work together, typically on a Sunday afternoon in the fall, to complete a variety of landscaping and beautification projects and keep Dolvin looking great! Hearing and Vision Screening
Volunteers are trained to complete yearly student screens that promote early detection of hearing and vision problems.
Recycling
With bins located throughout the school, Dolvin staff and students recycle tons of paper every year! The school wide recycling program is paid for by the PTA.
